Rising Hygiene Awareness Drives Renewed Demand for Turkish Cologne

With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Turkish cologne regained its essential place in daily life as a trusted hygiene solution thanks to its high alcohol content and strong disinfecting properties. According to VOA News, our brand Rebul, one of the most established representatives of Turkey’s cologne tradition, rapidly scaled its production to meet the growing demand both in Türkiye and abroad.

The report highlights that cologne has been an integral part of Turkish culture for more than a century, valued for its refreshing scent and antiseptic qualities. Lemon-scented cologne, in particular, continues to be widely embraced across the country.

With roots extending back to the Ottoman era, the Rebul heritage has played a defining role in the evolution of Türkiye’s cologne culture. The article emphasizes that the legacy founded by Jean Cesar Reboul in the late 19th century continues today under Atelier Rebul with the same commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

During the pandemic, we expanded our production planning, strengthened our supply chain and responded efficiently to both domestic and European demand. As our new manufacturing facility becomes fully operational, our production capacity will increase threefold, solidifying our position as a key player in meeting the rising global interest in Turkish cologne.
