Turkey’s Unique Hand Cleansing Tradition: The Culture of Turkish Cologne
As one of Turkey’s oldest and most respected producers of Turkish cologne, Atelier Rebul experienced a significant rise in demand during the pandemic, driven by the global need for effective hand cleansing products. Operating under Rebul Holding, the brand has maintained its expertise in cologne production since its establishment in 1895 as one of Istanbul’s earliest pharmacy initiatives.
With the pandemic bringing Turkish cologne back into everyday use, Atelier Rebul’s cologne sales increased eightfold. Crafted with natural essences, high alcohol content and a three week maturation process, the products provide both antiseptic effectiveness and a pleasant fragrance.
One of the brand’s most iconic creations, Rebul Lavanda, was originally developed by co founder Jean Cesar Reboul and continues to stand out today with its preserved traditional formula.
By combining its historical heritage with a modern production approach, Atelier Rebul continues to reinforce its leading position in Turkey’s long standing cologne tradition.
