Record Demand for Turkish Cologne During the Pandemic: A Deep-Rooted Tradition on the Rise Again
Turkish cologne, an essential part of the country’s hygiene and hospitality culture, experienced a remarkable surge in demand during the pandemic as the need for antiseptic products increased nationwide. According to Nikkei, our brand Rebul received orders reaching nearly five times our usual production capacity in March, and we quickly scaled our operations to maximum output, successfully meeting this extraordinary demand.
Our CEO, Kerim Müderrisoğlu, noted that we received approximately 600,000 liters of cologne orders in a single month, highlighting that this surge represents a strong vote of confidence in our brand.
As Turkish cologne regained its central place in daily life during the pandemic, we continued to deliver the products consumers needed thanks to our expanded production planning, strengthened supply chain and agile operational capabilities. Rooted in a tradition that dates back to the Ottoman era, Rebul remains committed to preserving this cultural heritage while meeting modern expectations with precision and reliability.
