For 130 years, Atelier Rebul has approached fragrance as an art, shaped by craftsmanship, memory and emotion. At Contemporary Istanbul 2026, the house extends its Art of Fragrance philosophy into contemporary art, exploring scent as a medium for artistic expression. Rooted in the heritage of Rebul, it reinterprets fragrance as a language of its own.

An Installation Where Fragrance Becomes Art

On view at Tersane Istanbul, the installation was created in collaboration with artist Sergen Şehitoğlu and draws from Atelier Rebul's İstanbul Golden Hour collection. Sculptural forms inspired by fragrance blotters move with the breeze, carrying scent through the air and bringing together light, movement and fragrance.

By day, its metallic surfaces enter into dialogue with the historic architecture around it. By evening, a warm inner glow transforms the work entirely. Fragrance is no longer only smelled; it is seen and felt.
